Underground Railroad Walking Tour
Come join The LAVA Center and ECHO Greenfield (Exploring and Creating Histories Ourselves) for a walking tour of the important sites of the Greenfield Underground Railroad.
In 2007 Greenfield underwent a thorough search of its own Underground Railroad. The end product was a tour of these sites, a guided opportunity to see the places and hear some stories of what occurred during the time. Carol Aleman and Lukas Martin have studied and organized a revitalization of the tour and are excited to be your tour guides.
Meeting at 1pm in front of The LAVA Center. The tour is about one and a half hours long. It focuses on in downtown spots. Three generations of guides will add enthusiastic perspectives. All are welcome. There is no charge. Wear walking shoes.
